Do I need to download an app?
No. I live in the messaging app you already use: iMessage on iPhone, or WhatsApp. Just text me.
Which languages do you speak?
I reply in the language you write to me in. [List the languages we test.]
Can I change your name or face?
Yes, any time. Just tell me, like "call yourself Ammu".
What I remember
What can I send you?
Messages, voice notes, photos, documents and links. You can also forward email to your GIRI inbox.
How do I find something later?
Just ask, in your own words: "what did the doctor say in September?" or "when is my flight?"
What's a shared journal?
A space you share with family or friends. Everyone in it can see what's added to it. Everything else stays yours.
Privacy and deleting
How do I delete my data?
Text me "forget me". I'll ask once to be sure, then erase your account and what you've sent me. See Privacy for the few copies that take longer.
What gets deleted?
Your account, messages, notes, reminders, journals you created, files, your search index and the records we use to fix problems. Backups clear within 7 days and system logs within 30. If you connected Google, also remove GIRI at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Who can see my notes?
You, and the members of a shared journal for the items you add to it. The AI services I use process messages so I can answer, and a small GIRI team can see messages when fixing problems.
